MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Dale Allen Eason, age 39, of Krebs, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Failure to Register as Sex Offender, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The Indictment alleged that Eason was convicted of Sodomy in the Third Degree, on May 25, 2017, in Lincoln County, Oregon, and was required to register as a sex offender, and that beginning in or about April 2026 and continuing until on or about June 8, 2026, Eason failed to register and update his registration despite entering, leaving, or residing in Indian country, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The charge arose from an investigation by the United States Marshals Service Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force.
The Honorable D. Edward Snow, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.
A U.S. District Court Judge will determine the sentence to be imposed after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
Eason will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing.
